We already have the Virgin cable TV service and have just given notice to terminate it. We have not had any service for nearly three weeks. We had an appointment for an engineer to come last week and he did not show up nor phone to cancel. When we called the service centre they said that he had come to our house but we were not at home, and that he had phoned us. This was not true but they did not believe us. The next appointment they could give us was a week later - after complaining, they said they would call us back with any cancellations. They did not call back, so we called them and found an earlier appointment. Virgin's serivce centres and engineer do not do what they say they wiil do. As this has happened before to us, we have now had enough! It also takes a long time to phone Virgin's customer service at a cost of 5p a minute if you do not have Virgin's phone service - our calls have lasted up to 45 minutes and Virgin say they will not refund the cost of these calls.
