Sports fans can keep now keep on top of all the latest scores and fixtures wherever they are with a new iPhone app from sports broadcaster Eurosport.
European satellite sports broadcaster Eurosport has launched a new app that lets sports fans with an iPhone watch their favourite sports from anywhere, while on the move.
Aptly named the Eurosport Player, the app is now available as a free download and offers UK users a chance to access British Eurosport and British Eurosport 2.
Although only available on the iPhone at the moment, Eurosport said it “plans to launch [the Eurosport Player] on other mobile operating systems as soon as possible.”
The new iPhone application lets users watch live sporting events with a wifi or 3G network connection. Downloading the app is free; however there is a £2.39 a month or £23.99 a year subscription charge to access the streamed content.
Eurosport is also available through Sky, Virgin Media and TalkTalk TV.
