The ESPN channel has now taken the place of Setanta Sports on Sky, Virgin Media, BT Vision, Top Up TV and Tiscali TV, and is showing a variety of content, as well as the Premier Leagues. (Updated 11/1/10).

A few years ago Setanta Sports won the rights to air 46 live Premier League football matches. This meant that customers now have more viewing and pricing options and those not wanting to sign-up with Sky can still watch some live matches.

What is Setanta?

As well as showing 46 live Premier League matches every season, Setanta offers 11 channels dedicated to sports, covering everything from golf to horse racing to North American sports and even a channel devoted to the Rangers football team.

How do I get Setanta?

Setanta Sports is available via cable, satellite, a Freeview box, and you can watch online. Deals are also available for BT Vision, Virgin TVand Tiscali TV customers.

Hi i am with setanta for about 3 years .what i would to know is now
that i dont have any ascess to any of setanta.s stations ,will you be stopping taking payments by direct debit because i wont be paying to watch 4 blank screens don/t you agree.I await for your reply

Hi Ralston, this is a really good question!
Setanta 2 is an additional channel which shows action from the Dutch, French, Portuguese and German football leagues, rugby from the Magners League, and Australian NRL.
Unfortunatly you can only get the single channel on Freeview for £10.99, so if you wanted the full package of Setanta channels, you would be better off getting them from Sky for the same price a month.
