BT Vision packages

BT Vision (www.bt.vision.co.uk) is BT's digital TV service, and gives BT broadband customers the chance to watch Freeview TV and other on-demand programmes whenever they want.

What is BT Vision?

Every BT Vision customer gets all of the Freeview channels, including digital radio stations, and can also watch other programmes or packages as added extras, making it a cheap and convenient way to get started with digital TV.

For a one-off cost, you'll also receive a Vision+ box that allows you to record up to 80 hours of Freeview programmes.

BT Vision packages

If, for instance, you want to watch Freeview but find that there aren't enough children's programmes on these channels to keep the kids entertained, you can sign up to the BT Vision Kids package, which gives you more than 100 children's TV series to choose from at the click of a button.

If you haven't signed up for this package, you can still choose to watch some of these programmes on demand, but it might work out more expensive over the course of the month.

Luckily, these BT Vision packages are available month by month so, if you find you're not making the most of a particular subscription, you can unsubscribe quickly and easily.

There are four BT Vision packages available:

• PictureBox Film - 28 films on demand every month, with seven new movies added every Friday.
• Sport - A selection of classic sporting events, Premier League matches, Moto GP and TNA wrestling.
• Music - The latest music videos, concert footage and music documentaries.
• Kids - Over 100 kids' TV series from channels including the BBC, Milkshake and Nat Geo Jr.

Can I use BT Vision to watch Freeview TV only?

Yes - unlike many digital TV services, the BT Vision service is set up so that you don't have to pay a subscription if you don't want to. If you'd like to watch paid-for programmes, music videos or films, you can pick and choose them individually or sign up for BT Vision’s packages, which offer a range of programmes at a reduced cost.

How do I get BT Vision?
