Keep your kids entertained over the Easter holidays with a host of on-demand children’s programmes on Virgin Media, including a special hour long episode of SpongeBob Square Pants.
on-demandFans of SpongeBob Square Pants can watch an exclusive one-off hour long episode of the hit cartoon on Virgin Media’s TV Choice service over April.
The episode, SpongeBob: Truth or Square, features a host of celebrities playing themselves, including Will Ferrell, Robin Williams, and Pink.
Virgin Media (www.virginmedia.com), the UK’s largest cable TV provider, is also offering 10 episodes of kids’ favourite SpongeBob on-demand via TV Choice. TV Choice costs £7 a month for customers on the Size M or L packages, or is free to XL subscribers.
A spokesman for Virgin Media said: “As the nation prepares to go ‘eggstatic’ this Easter, Virgin Media On Demand brings a whole host of entertainment to the UK’s TV screens throughout April, with a selection of over 2,000 shows to choose from in it’s TV library.”
Over the Easter holidays, subscribers can also watch the first 43 episodes of Emmy-award winning series In Treatment back-to-back on TV Choice. The series features a host of celebrity “patients”, including Alice in Wonderland’s Mia Wasikowska and Home and Away’s Melissa George, visiting psychotherapist Dr Paul Weston, played by Gabriel Bryne.
Historical drama The Other Boleyn Girl will also premiere on Virgin Media’s PictureBox service on 30 April, in both standard and high-definition. PictureBox costs £5 extra a month to all Virgin TV subscribers.
Jon Ingram, operations director at Digitalchoices.co.uk, said: “The whole family is going to be kept entertained over Easter with Virgin Media’s on-demand service. Make sure you subscribe to the XL package to get the biggest range of channels, films and programmes on-demand though.”
