Fans of the digital TV channel Living are in for a treat, as Virgin Media Television gets ready to launch the new Living Loves channel, showcasing “hit dramas and comedies from Living’s recent history.”
New channel Living Loves, part of the Virgin Media group of channels, will replace the Living+2 channel on Monday 5 July, and will be available to Virgin Media (www.virginmedia.com) and Sky homes.
The channel will show a range of US dramas and comedies from 3pm to 2am, letting telly fans catch-up on their favourite Living shows, including Cougar Town, Grey’s Anatomy, Criminal Minds, Private Practice and Supernatural.
Claudia Rosencrantz, director of television at Virgin Media Television, said: “Living Loves will be ‘series-link’ heaven for viewers who simply can’t get enough of Living’s best shows. Shows as good as these should be seen again.”
Virgin Media’s portfolio of channels, which includes the Bravo and Challenge channels, were recently sold to Sky in a £160 million deal.
Through the deal, Virgin Media homes will get access to more Sky channels, including Sky Movies Premiere and Sky Sports 3 and 4, for much less than before.
