Sky offers triple-play sports deal for £39 a month

Footie fans can now get a digital TV package with Sky Sports for £39 a month from the satellite TV giant, with free broadband and evening and weekend calls.

Sky (www.sky.co.uk), Britain’s largest satellite TV provider, is offering a competitive digital TV, home phone and broadband triple-play deal, aimed at football fans wanting to watch all the action from the Premier League.

The bundled package includes all four Sky Sports channels and Sky Sports News, three months free access to ESPN and one Sky viewing pack, for just £39 a month.

On top of this, new customers will get free broadband with speeds of up to 20Mb and a 2GB monthly download limit, and a home phone package with free evening and weekend calls.

Jon Ingram, operations manager at Digitalchoices.co.uk, said: “If you’re a footie or sports fan, you should definitely consider this deal - switching to this package save you loads on your monthly bills, as well as getting you access to all the Sky Sports channels.”

Anyone signing up for the offer will also able to watch Sky Sports via their iPhone and laptop until the end of 2010, “making it easier to keep up with the latest scores” added Ingram. And if you sign-up online you’ll also net yourself a £25 M&S voucher.

The offer is available until midnight on Friday 20 August 2010.

Sky has waived the £49 charge for the Sky+ box with this deal, while standard set-up - which is normally £30 - is also free. Instead, customers just need to pay £10 upfront, with this amount then deducted from the first bill.

Ingram said: “If you don’t want to sign-up with Sky, both Virgin Media and BT Vision are also offering competitive sports TV bundles too.”
