BT Vision customers can now watch on-demand US series including 24, Prison Break and Buffy the Vampire Slayer after BT secured a deal with film and TV company Twentieth Century Fox.
Subscribers of BT Vision (www.bt.vision.co.uk) can now watch Keifer Sutherland playing Jack Bauer in the first four seasons of the hit US series 24 on-demand, along with episodes of The X-Files and Prison Break.
BT Vision customers with a BT Vision TV pack subscription - which start at £7.34 a month - can access the Fox programmes as part of BT’s TV service at no extra cost.
BT Vision’s packs are organised into the genres kids, sports, films and music and are available at three levels - bronze, silver and gold:
Marc Watson, BT Retail’s chief executive of television and online services, said: “We’re delighted to reach this agreement with Fox so that we can offer BT Vision customers the best US TV drama.”
He added that Fox joining BT Vision was “a substantial, high-profile addition.”
The Fox programmes join a host of other on-demand content from other providers, including Universal, Sony, Living, Discovery, National Geographic, MTV, E! and Paramount Comedy.
Jon Ingram, operations director at Digitalchoices.co.uk, said: “Households looking to switch to digital TV for less should definitely consider BT Vision. Available to all BT Total Broadband customers, it offers a range of on-demand content for a low-cost monthly subscription.”
