Got BT broadband? Sign-up online for BT’s TV service, BT Vision, before the end of the year and get a free Vision+ set-top box.

New BT Vision (www.btvision.bt.com) subscribers will get a free Vision+ box when they sign-up for one of the internet TV giant’s “Value” packs.

The BT Vision+ box works as a Freeview set-top box, but it is also high-definition (HD) ready and has a 160GB hard drive, for recording and storing films and TV programmes.

BT Vision is a competitive TV option for anyone wanting to watch the Barclays Premier League

BT Vision is available to all BT Total Broadband customers and each BT Vision pack is organised by genre; kids, sports, films and music. BT Vision subscribers can choose from three Value packs:

  • Bronze Value - Choose any two genre packs for £7.50 a month for the first three months, £14.99 thereafter
  • Silver Value - Choose any three genre packs for £10.50 for the first three months, £17.99 thereafter
  • Gold Value - Take all four genre packs for £12.50 for the first three months, £19.99 thereafter.

Any new BT Total Broadband customers, who sign-up for BT Total Broadband, BT Vision and one of the Value packs before 31 December 2010, will get the free Vision+ box, saving £45.

Existing BT Broadband customers can also sign-up for the offer, upgrading their service to include BT Vision.

Jon Ingram, operations director at Digitalchoices.co.uk, said: “The Vision+ box is HD ready and gives users the ability to record TV to its memory.”

He added: “BT Vision customers also have the option to add Sky Sports to their package, from just £6.99 a month - making it a very competitive TV option for anyone wanting to watch the action from the Barclays Premier League.”
