Get a free digital TV recorder worth £100 when you sign-up to Tiscali TV before 31 December.
Tiscali (www.tiscali.co.uk) is giving all new customers that sign up to its TV service a free Tiscali+ digital recorder, worth £100.
Tiscali, the pioneers of video-on-demand and TV over broadband, offers customers a triple-play of products, letting them bundle high-speed broadband, home telephone and digital TV, all through their landline.
The free digital TV recorder offer is available from now until 31 December 2009 for all new customers that sign up to Tiscali online.
A spokeswoman for Tiscali said: “The offers means there’s no excuse for missing a single Christmas TV special or classic Boxing Day movie.”
Highlights over the festive period include Disney’s Oscar-winning Pixar animation Ratatouille, two Doctor Who Christmas specials, and an adaptation of children’s book The Gruffalo, with characters voiced by Robbie Coltrane, Helena Bonham Carter, Rob Brydon and James Corden.
The Tiscali TV service - which is only available to Tiscali broadband customers - offers over 70 channels and a free seven-day catch-up service.
Jon Ingram, operations director at Digitalchoices.co.uk, said: “This is a great offer for anyone who lives in an area able to receive Tiscali TV and hasn’t yet made the switch over to digital. You need to remember that Tiscali TV is only available in certain parts of the country though, so it’s essential you do a postcode search first before signing up.”
Tiscali TV packages and bundles are priced from £19.99 a month for the basic TV service, and include up to 8Mb unlimited broadband and unlimited weekend calls.
Line rental is also included in the monthly cost of the package, so there’s no need to pay BT for line rental, and subscribers also get a free wireless router.
