Popular music TV channels

Music television has come a long way since Top of the Pops on Friday nights. Channels available now include:

MTV - MTV was started in the 90’s and is one of the few channels that can lend its name to a generation. MTV channels now include MTV One, MTV R, MTV Hits, MTV Base, MTV Dance, MTVN HD, and MTV Two. The MTV channels are available on Sky and Virgin Media.

VH1 - VHI was launched as a sister channel to MTV, offering the softer side of pop music. VH1 soon launched VH1 Classic which plays a wide selection of classic rock music videos. The VH1 music channels are available on Sky and Virgin Media.

With on-demand music TV, you can choose which music videos you want to watch as well as pause, rewind and fast-forward to the best bits. With more music videos being added every month you are sure to find something good to listen to.

On-demand music videos are available on BT Vision and Virgin Media.
