High Definition Television. New technology that has four times as many pixels as normal television broadcasts giving a much clearer picture and far more detail. Even with a HD-ready TV, you must still subscribe to HD digital channels to receive HD programming. HD-ready TVs are not necessarily the same as digital TVs.
